Getting here
Follow the Costanera Sur (Route 34) south through Uvita to Ojochal — around 45 km, or 45 minutes at a comfortable pace. Turn inland at the village and follow Avenida Principal until the jungle closes in around you. Parking is on site.

Dominical is surf, smoothies and sand. When guests want a candlelit table and a real wine list, they drive south to Ojochal — and have been coming to Exótica since 1998.
Why make the drive
Ojochal is the southern zone's culinary village, and Exótica is its longest-running fine-dining room. French technique, Pacific ingredients, and a menu built around whatever came off the boats that morning — served on an open-air terrace that is sheltered beneath a thatched roof, so the rain never interrupts dinner.
Timing your evening
We are open Tuesday to Saturday, 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, year-round. We are closed Sundays and Mondays.
Leave Dominical with enough daylight for the drive, and reserve ahead — the room is small and high-season dinners fill quickly.
