Uvita has the whale's tail, the waterfalls and the beach bars. For a proper dinner, guests drive twenty minutes south on the Costanera to Ojochal — and to Exótica.
Head south on the Costanera Sur (Route 34) for about 18 km, turn inland at Ojochal and follow Avenida Principal. It takes twenty minutes in daylight and a little longer after dark — the road is paved the whole way, and there is parking on site.
Most of our Uvita guests spend the morning at Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, walk out on the sandbar at low tide, then come to us for an early dinner. Service begins at 4:00 PM, which works neatly with sunset on the coast.
Cuisine du Monde — French technique with Asian, Polynesian and Mediterranean influences. Fresh Pacific fish, duck breast with citrus, house pastas, and a full bar of cocktails made on the terrace.
Book ahead for dinner, particularly December through April. Parties of seven or more should reserve at any hour.
